Zlatý prsteň Aurora od Harakka v luxusnej krabičke – ako zistiť správnu veľkosť prsteňa

How to find your ring size – the complete guide

Why is the correct ring size important?

A correctly chosen ring size ensures comfortable wear and prevents the loss of the jewel. A ring that is too tight can restrict blood circulation, while one that is too loose can easily slip off the finger.

Method 1: Measuring with tape or paper

  1. Wrap a narrow strip of paper or tape around the finger on which you want to wear the ring.
  2. Mark the point where the paper/tape meets.
  3. Measure the length in millimeters – this is the circumference of your finger.
  4. Compare the measured circumference with the size chart below.

Method 2: Measuring an existing ring

  1. Take a ring that fits you well.
  2. Measure its inner diameter in millimeters.
  3. Compare with the size chart.

Ring Size Chart

Size (EU) Finger Circumference (mm) Inner Diameter (mm)
46 46 14,6
48 48 15,3
50 50 15,9
52 52 16,6
54 54 17,2
56 56 17,8
58 58 18,5
60 60 19,1

Tips for accurate measurement

  • Measure in the evening – fingers are thinner in the morning and slightly swollen in the evening, which corresponds to the normal state during the day.
  • Measure at room temperature – cold causes fingers to contract.
  • If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
  • Knuckle vs. base of finger – if you have a larger knuckle, measure the knuckle as well and choose a size between the circumference of the knuckle and the base of the finger.
